Happy Monday! Let’s talk about something that determines your success, happiness, and growth more than you might realize—the people you surround yourself with.
You’ve probably heard the saying: You are the sum of the five people you spend the most time with.
Think about it. The conversations you have, the energy you absorb, the perspectives you’re exposed to—all of it influences your mindset, actions, and ultimately, your results.
I’ve seen this play out in my own life. When I was surrounded by people who played small, doubted themselves, and made excuses, I found myself unconsciously doing the same. But when I shifted my circle—when I started surrounding myself with people who were driven, spiritually aligned, and committed to growth—everything changed.
- I started thinking bigger and acting bolder.
- I stopped settling and pushed myself further than ever before.
- I realized that the right community doesn’t just inspire you—it transforms you.
The 5% Rule
Most people stay stuck because they don’t expand beyond their current environment. But the top 5%? The people who truly thrive? They intentionally put themselves in circles that challenge, elevate, and inspire them.
If you want to grow, you can’t do it alone. You need to be in a space where success, healing, and transformation are normalized—where the people around you are doing the work and pulling you forward with them.
Look at the most successful, fulfilled, and high-vibrational people you know. Chances are, they are not surrounding themselves with people who drain them, doubt them, or hold them back. They curate their inner circles with care, ensuring that every conversation and interaction aligns with their highest potential.
The truth is, you will never outperform the environment you place yourself in. If you’re constantly in spaces where negativity, fear, and stagnation are the norm, breaking through will feel like an uphill battle. But when you surround yourself with people who are striving, learning, and expanding, their energy will naturally elevate you.
Your Challenge This Week
Look at your inner circle. Ask yourself:
- Do the people around me push me to grow, or do they keep me comfortable?
- Am I inspired by my circle, or do I feel drained?
- If I want to reach the next level, who do I need to be around to make that happen?
This isn’t about cutting people out of your life; it’s about being intentional. Who are the people who align with the life you want to build? Who challenges you in the best way possible? And just as importantly, how can you be the kind of person that elevates the people around you?
Action Step
Spend some time this week reflecting on your circle. Identify the relationships that uplift you and the ones that hold you back. Then, take one intentional step toward surrounding yourself with people who match the level of success and transformation you desire.
Maybe that means reaching out to someone who inspires you. Maybe it’s engaging in deeper, more meaningful conversations with those who elevate you. Maybe it’s setting new boundaries with relationships that no longer serve your growth. Whatever it is, choose one shift—just one—and start there.
Big changes start with small shifts. Choose your circle wisely.
In Love and Gratitude,
