This week’s Mind Shift Monday comes to you straight from the frontlines of a movement that’s gaining momentum—and for good reason.
I’m currently at the Psychedelic Science Conference, surrounded by researchers, healers, veterans, and everyday people all exploring one central idea:
Plant medicine is changing lives.
Not in theory. Not in some far-off future. Right now.
Here’s what I’ve been reminded of:
- There are people living with trauma that runs deep—physically, emotionally, spiritually.
- Many have tried everything modern medicine has to offer and still feel stuck.
- And for these people, plant medicine isn’t “alternative”… it’s hope.
Whether it’s Tepezcohuite, Psilocybin, Bufo, Ayahuasca, Kambo, or other sacred medicines, there’s one theme that keeps echoing in the halls of this conference:
Healing is possible—especially when we stop treating symptoms and start addressing the root.
What’s even more powerful is seeing how much awareness is growing. Doctors are talking. Scientists are publishing. Lawmakers are reconsidering. People are sharing their stories without shame.
But we’re still early in this wave. And there are still so many who don’t know there’s another way.
If you’re reading this, you’re part of that awareness.
Your curiosity, your willingness to question what’s “normal,” your desire to heal—that energy matters more than you know.
So here’s your reflection for the week:
- Who do you know that might be suffering silently?
- What conversations could you start or support that bring light to this kind of healing?
- Where in your own life are you still looking for the medicine you actually need—not just the one that’s most convenient?
Let this be the week you get curious.
Not just about plant medicine, but about any truth you haven’t looked at fully because it didn’t fit the mainstream narrative.
And if you’re already on this path, keep walking. Keep sharing. Keep shining a light.
This week’s intention: Start a conversation with one person who may need to hear that another path to healing exists. Ask questions. Listen deeply. Let compassion guide you.
Big shifts happen when brave people bring taboo topics into the light.
Be that person.
